John Coogan

John brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit technology to the CharityEngine team. As our Vice President of Client Services, he works with internal teams to ensure we are continuously refining our technology to meet the needs of our clients. John also helps educate our clients on different ways he has used technology to substantially benefit nonprofit organizations.

CharityEngine’s team first met John when he was the Director of Technology and Digital Fundraising at Wounded Warrior Project, which remains a client more than 10 years later. Other accomplishments include serving in executive roles at Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, Folded Flag Foundation, and The Animal Foundation in Las Vegas.

John is an Army veteran and graduate of The United States Military Academy at West Point. He received his Master of Business Administration at the University of Texas at Austin. John lives in Las Vegas with his two children but travels to the CharityEngine offices regularly.
