CharityEngine is an expanding its sales organization and is looking to add to its Business Development team!

We help nonprofit fundraisers who want to fulfill their mission and influence good in the world. Our more recognizable clients include Wounded Warrior Project, Rainforest Trust, MD Anderson Cancer Center and Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. We’re a great group who loves working with each other and helping make an impact on the world by supporting our client’s needs around constituent management, online and offline donation processing, fundraising events, and marketing automation. Our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) utilize phone and email outreach to help secure meetings for our sales consultants. Our BDR’s work very closely with our Sales and Marketing Leadership team in coordinated outreach initiatives to schedule meetings with highly targeted prospective clients and leads. Our successful BDR’s are highly organized, exercise effective phone / email outreach and passionately embrace the mission of non-profits.

Note: This position is located in our Tysons, VA office with a mixture of in-person and remote work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting.

  • Work directly with sales and marketing to discover opportunities from leads.

  • Demonstrate effective outreach skills to heighten prospect interest and influence meetings.

  • Be a good teammate, an inquisitive learner, and demonstrate integrity in every aspect of their work
