Director of Customer Service
Jake Munaker is an experienced project manager and campaign consultant for nonprofits, focusing on community/member engagement and fundraising. He is a proud alumnus of The University of Maryland. Before Jake’s work with nonprofits and associations, he had a successful career as a small-business entrepreneur with a private chef-services/catering company. Jake spent ten years working as an advocacy/policy consultant for CQ Roll Call and One Click Politics. He also remains a current member SAG/AFTRA and has worked for years as a voice-over artist and stuntman.
After three years as the Senior Sales Director, Jake has taken a new position as the Director of Customer Service at CharityEngine. Jake helps nonprofits use the CharityEngine system to streamline their fundraising and donor management strategies. He has experience working with various industries, including NGOs, membership associations, foundations, and other nonprofit charities that seek his expertise and professional guidance on organizing, constructing, and implementing customized engagement/fundraising campaigns. Jake often draws on his experience as a government relations specialist to advise clients on policy issue strategies.
Jake is often asked to consult nonprofits and speak at conferences about maximizing engagement in the public policy and fundraising worlds. He is a former Board Member of the Grassroots Professional Network and a former member of the Public Affairs Council.
Jake resides outside our nation’s capital with his wife, their son, and their dog.
