He has extensive experience in developing and managing large scale enterprise systems in both the corporate setting and in the commercial Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) industry. His philosophy focuses on optimizing end user experience and support services to achieve maximum revenue and product/customer satisfaction.
Alan began his career as a software engineer at Peopleclick, one of the pioneering SaaS companies focusing on the Human Resources vertical. He worked with industry leaders to co-author the XML data exchange standards for candidate, resume, and job posting enabling seamless integrations between disparate platforms.
In the 2000s, Alan worked for the New York based Equinox Holdings, the premier operator of national health club properties, where he implemented IT Governance and systems infrastructure that helped propel Equinox to become a billion-dollar company.
Building on Equinox and previous SaaS experiences, in 2009 Alan was named the Chief Operating Officer for Rockville based Motionsoft. Alan helped guide Motionsoft to become a leading provider of membership management and financial services to the health and wellness industry. While at Motionsoft, he implemented tools, processes, and customer oriented culture that drove company's triple digit growth during his tenure.
